Reachable when Keepfin is closed (Android)
Android often stops apps in the background. This switch asks Keepfin to stay available for your own devices.
What it does#
On Android
Open Settings → Devices, then Advanced, and switch on Reachable when Keepfin is closed. Keepfin then keeps a small notification while it is on, so your other devices can sync with this phone even when Keepfin is closed. It uses a little battery.
If you leave it off#
Devices still sync when Keepfin is open on the phone, and the phone catches up later. Switch it on if you want the PC to find the phone at any time.
Mobile data#
If you are on mobile data, Keepfin says so: the library list still syncs, and files wait for Wi-Fi unless you allow mobile data for a device.
